Information about me

I am a Belarusian National, formerly a Customs Officer, and now live in Rzeszów, Poland with my Polish husband. As of October 2023, I am studying Painting at the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Rzeszów.

The first time I was inspired by art was at my university in Minsk. There, I saw many different styles from many different Belarusian Artists. I wanted to look at those paintings more and more and find my artwork among them. Since my childhood I had painted regularly, but until this time it was only a hobby. I began searching for something artistic, something special for myself. It was very difficult.

Later, being in Poland, I found that special kind of art. I've understood that I appreciate the Old Masters' techniques and am striving to learn those techniques. I've made studies of famous paintings which you can see in my Gallery, as well as other paintings of my own personal production. I have a long road ahead of myself, but I hope to one day achieve my goals of becoming an acclaimed artist.

I most enjoy painting with Egg Tempera, which I first used to paint Orthodox Icons, but the technique I most often paint with usually uses layers of Acrylic, Tempera and Oil colors. I also dabble with Watercolors, Inks and Texture Paste (Sculpture Painting), but for now my focus is learning the Old Masters' techniques.
